A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support to elementary students in Baldwin City, KS. This contract assignment spans the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s communication development within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document and monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid licensure for school-based SLP practice
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
