Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New York
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- A passion for supporting students’ communication and academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in meetings, evaluations, and develop supportive learning strategies
- Support students’ social, academic, and communication skills for lifelong success
