Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New York
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • A passion for supporting students’ communication and academic success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in meetings, evaluations, and develop supportive learning strategies
  • Support students’ social, academic, and communication skills for lifelong success
