Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic school environment near Baldwinsville, NY. This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about pediatrics and interested in making a difference, either onsite or virtually. Openings are available on both the north and south sides of Onondaga, with the flexibility to provide mentorship to Clinical Fellows.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible New York State SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and implement evidence-based interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy in-person and/or via teletherapy, as required
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Mentor and support SLP-CFY candidates, sharing best practices and guidance
