This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about pediatrics and interested in making a difference, either onsite or virtually. Openings are available on both the north and south sides of Onondaga, with the flexibility to provide mentorship to Clinical Fellows.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible New York State SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and implement evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Provide direct and consultative therapy in-person and/or via teletherapy, as required
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Mentor and support SLP-CFY candidates, sharing best practices and guidance
