School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Ballston Spa, New York

Step into a dynamic school environment and contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the coming school year. This contract opportunity, running from September through June (with the possibility of shorter-term coverage from September through November), is set within a supportive elementary setting with students from kindergarten through fifth grade. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help ignite communication skills and empower young learners each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children (Kindergarten through Grade 5) is preferred
• Skilled in conducting speech/language assessments and delivering individualized and group therapy
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

What Your Days Will Look Like:

• Provide up to nine therapy sessions per day, addressing a diverse caseload and collaborating closely with teaching staff
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting to each student’s needs
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes as needed
• Take advantage of two dedicated planning periods daily to prepare materials and document progress
• Maintain clear, timely records and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional practice in a school-based setting
