You'll work alongside educators and support staff in Hazelwood (all ages), Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary), and Jennings (all ages), minimizing travel while still tapping into diverse experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- Current professional SLP license and eligibility to work in educational settings
- Open to Clinical Fellowship (CF) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) applicants
- Experience or strong interest in working with a variety of age groups
- Completion of required credentialing: fingerprints and drug screening
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to identify communication needs
- Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support teams to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings to contribute insights and recommendations
- Provide services across several campuses locally, ensuring consistent support
