A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position is ideal for SLPs who are passionate about fostering communication skills in a school setting, working closely with a dynamic team to make a lasting impact.
As the primary SLP, you will provide direct speech-language services for a caseload of up to 45 students enrolled in a half-day program—split between morning and afternoon sessions. Standard hours are 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. The contract runs from August 17th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, with dates flexible based on potential snow days.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students with IEPs
- Develop and execute weekly lesson plans focused on IEP goals
- Monitor, document, and report on students’ progress toward goals three times yearly
- Prepare, manage, and implement IEPs as case manager
- Coordinate meetings with the IEP team and participate in PLCs and professional development activities
- Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and other related duties as assigned
This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $50 to $55 for experienced SLPs, providing meaningful work within a supportive educational environment.
