Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist from late October through early February. Work alongside an experienced SLP in a welcoming school environment, where collaboration and student-centered care are key values. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience providing speech/language services in a K-5 school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in grades K-5
  • Case manage 6 students, maintaining detailed records and communication with families
  • Manage a service load encompassing 19 students with IEPs and 19 additional students receiving interventions, for a total caseload of 38
  • Collaborate closely with the full-time SLP and participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress reporting
  • Adhere to a school-day schedule of 8:35 am to 3:35 pm, with the expectation to arrive 15 minutes prior and stay 15 minutes after for preparation and wrap-up
