Speech Language Pathologist in Ballwin, MO

This contract opportunity seeks a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential speech and language services in the elementary school environment. You’ll make a difference for children—many of whom are non-verbal and utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices—and support students across 1-2 schools in the area.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver individualized and small-group speech/language therapy aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Support a diverse caseload, with approximately 3,400 service minutes, including students reliant on AAC devices
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports, ensuring compliance with district/state standards
• Flexibly assist in another school as needs arise within the district
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required

What will set you up for success:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• School-based SLP/SLPA experience strongly preferred
• Expertise or interest in serving non-verbal students and AAC device implementation
• Capacity to work on-site and adjust to changing district needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation processes
• Commitment to meeting fingerprinting/credentialing requirements, including prompt completion of technology documentation forms
