Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Baltimore, MD

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Maryland, plus ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
• Prior experience with school-based or pediatric therapy is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and related compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally-responsive care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students as needed
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Deliver engaging, goal-focused therapy sessions in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal student outcomes
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
• Support inclusive practices and provide consultative services to staff and families as appropriate
