A leading educational institution in Baltimore, MD is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with communication disorders. This role involves working directly within school settings and requires occasional travel between locations to provide comprehensive evaluations and therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing educational plans
- Travel between schools as required to deliver consistent care across different sites
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working within school environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage travel responsibilities efficiently
