A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a K-12 school setting located in Bangor, ME. This contract position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) services, offering a flexible schedule designed to fit your needs during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and caseload management
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credentials
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working within school settings, ideally with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details:
- Contract role during ESY (summer) starting in July
- Minimum of 2 days per week, Tuesday-Thursday with flexible day selection
- Morning hours, allowing for optimal work-life balance
- Serving students across all grade levels (K-12)
