This summer role is conveniently located near Bangor, ME, and centers on making a meaningful impact during the morning hours, just two days each week. Qualifications & Skills:

  • Holds current Speech-Language Pathology license and certification (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or eligibility)
  • Experience working in school-based settings or with K-12 students preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs and specialized instruction for diverse student needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Compassionate, flexible, and enthusiastic about supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized speech and language therapy services for students under ESY guidelines
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement engaging interventions
  • Work closely with teachers, aides, and support staff to facilitate learning and goal achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation promptly
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families when applicable
  • Create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth
