Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • State licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical fellowship candidates are welcome
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to student care
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage a varied caseload

Your daily work will include:

  • Conducting screenings, assessments, and providing direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and/or fluency issues
  • Collaborating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting student progress
  • Consulting and collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
  • Offering support and education to staff and families related to speech and language development
  • Utilizing evidence-based strategies to maximize student outcomes
