Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Enthusiastic communicator, collaborative team member, and advocate for student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and related school-based activities
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
