Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain Maine credentials
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and maintain appropriate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to student support strategies
