A K-12 school in Barre, VT is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a strong background in special education to support a diverse student population. This contract position is full-time with a schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours as needed. This role requires on-site presence and involves working with a mixed caseload in a structured school setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license, preferably with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within healthcare or school environments
  • Previous involvement in teletherapy is a plus but not required, as this position is onsite only
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage special education caseloads effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with special education staff and case managers to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as necessary
