This opportunity is for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting for the 2025/2026 school year. The position offers a contract role focused on supporting students' communication and speech development across two school locations. The ideal candidate will hold the SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and possess appropriate licensure to practice in Illinois.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) issued SLP license
- Must be a certified SLP-CCC; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will not be considered
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals
Position Details:
- Location: Bartlett, IL area, servicing two school sites
- Workweek: 27 hours per week initially, with potential increase to 30 hours based on fit and needs
- Start date: August 14, 2025
- End date: May 28, 2026
Responsibilities include administering evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering direct speech therapy services, and collaborating closely with educational staff to support students’ communication goals.
