Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services at the elementary level for the 2026-2027 school year. Work directly with early education through 5th-grade students, focusing on a diverse caseload under 65. This position supports students’ communication and language development alongside a dedicated educational team and offers the unique benefit of a bilingual environment—Spanish proficiency is essential for effective collaboration and family engagement.
Schedule runs weekdays, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, primarily serving one elementary campus. To promote work/life balance, a hybrid option is available: three days onsite and two remote workdays per week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active (or eligible) state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is strongly preferred
- Must be bilingual in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic caseload of students in grades EE-5th
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families on intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and state guidelines
