Step into a rewarding opportunity to make an impact in elementary education as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Serving an elementary campus, you’ll play a vital role in helping students build foundational communication skills.
Your week will run from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, working closely with around 50 students on your caseload. With the convenience of facilitators managing and leading IEP meetings, your focus remains on providing exceptional therapy, conducting thorough evaluations, and keeping student goals and progress up to date. You will attend scheduled IEP meetings, contribute new goals, and ensure consistent progress tracking for each student.
We’re searching for candidates who bring the following:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (required)
- Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential; school or healthcare experience desired
- State licensure as required for practice
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks independently
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to elementary-age students
- Completing comprehensive speech/language evaluations and reports
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with facilitators
- Developing and updating individualized treatment plans and student goals
- Tracking and documenting student progress accurately and efficiently
