Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license or eligibility in the state
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-based approach
  • Ability to organize, manage caseloads, and maintain thorough documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to design supportive interventions
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions both one-on-one and in small groups
  • Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide consultation and resources to educators and parents on speech/language strategies
  • Help cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment
