Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication objectives
- Carefully document progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, specialists, and administrative team members
- Engage families in the therapy process, offering updates and education to promote generalization of skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and an aptitude for both independent and collaborative work
