Make a real difference in the lives of students by joining an engaging school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite position serves K-12 students from September 2 through June 25, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:20 PM. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help children reach their communication and academic goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric and K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in teletherapy and traditional healthcare delivery models
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy to K-12 students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to ensure effective support and carryover of therapies
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Engage students in both group and 1:1 sessions, utilizing creative and effective therapy techniques
- Utilize teletherapy approaches as needed to support continuity of care
