Speech Language Pathologist in Battle Creek, MI

Required Qualifications:

• Hold an active Michigan SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in school settings and with pediatric populations (PreK-12th grade)
• Comfortable serving a diverse range of student needs, primarily Early Childhood
• Ability to work full-time, onsite (up to 40 hours per week)
• For Clinical Fellows (CFs): must have a supervisor arranged in advance
• Commitment to fostering communication skills and supporting student success
• Candidates must complete license verification through the Michigan Department of Education

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct, onsite speech and language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and social growth
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation
• Support Early Childhood initiatives while also serving the wider PreK-12 population
