Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active and valid state licensure, or eligibility for licensure as a school-based SLP
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for students, targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and IEP documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals within the classroom setting
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings for student support
  • Provide consultation and resources to school staff and parents to optimize student success
