Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfort with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Document students’ progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions, offering strategies and support for student success
- Offer training and guidance to school staff and parents when needed
