This full-time assignment with a day school program for the Deaf runs from 8/3/26 to 5/25/27, across three school sites. You’ll play an essential role supporting students (PreK 3 to 12th grade) with various levels of hearing loss—helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and eligibility for SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC
  • Extensive experience or special interest in school-based settings
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
  • Ability to serve a caseload of 60 students with hearing loss, ranging from PreK 3 to 12th grade
  • Demonstrated adaptability and strong communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students using ASL and augmentative communication as needed
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized education plans
  • Travel between three designated school campuses as assigned within the school week
  • Document and report on student progress in accordance with school and district procedures
  • Engage families and faculty in student success strategies
