Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in Delaware (DE SLP License required)
  • Prior experience as a school-based SLP is strongly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, student-focused environment
  • American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress in the school environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support strategies
