Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Delaware, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work onsite; teletherapy is not an option for this position
- Commitment to upholding professional standards and best practices in school-based settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with a variety of communication needs
- Consult with teachers and parents to support academic and social success
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
