Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for Delaware or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to generalize progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with state/federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
