Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Delaware, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work onsite; teletherapy is not an option for this position
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards and best practices in school-based settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with a variety of communication needs
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support academic and social success
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
