Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Bear, DE

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a rewarding in-person contract position working with a supportive educational community near Bear, DE. This full-time opportunity runs throughout the 2026-2027 school year and seeks two dedicated SLPs who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. You’ll partner with educators and families to help students develop critical communication skills and reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered support

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents on communication strategies
