School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Bear, Delaware

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Provide therapy services to address receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and communication logs
• Provide consultation and resources to staff and families as needed
