School Speech Language Pathologist - Bear, Delaware

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Delaware SLP License/Certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary students
• Skilled in direct speech-language therapy and evaluations
• Comfortable developing IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Proficient in documenting student progress within special education frameworks
• Effective collaborator with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Ability to work on-site for a full scheduled day
• Reliable transportation to the school location

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to elementary school students
• Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support teams
• Communicate effectively with staff, families, and support providers
• Adapt as needed to different caseload assignments based on school needs
