Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid California SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (COC) required
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for referred students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ speech and language needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
  • Provide therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders, ranging from articulation to language and social skills
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain knowledge of best practices
