This in-person contract opportunity begins in mid-August, covering a leave through January, with the potential to extend through June. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current State SLP License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience in early childhood or pediatric settings, especially with ECSE populations, preferred.
- Strong ability to collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to travel within East Multnomah County to homes and preschool sites.
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in young children.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to early childhood development.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in both home and community preschool settings.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support comprehensive development.
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with ECSE and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing case management.
