Key Qualifications:

  • Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Certification to work in school-based settings
  • Experience supporting elementary and/or high school students preferred
  • Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload and meet deadlines

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district guidelines
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students identified with needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, goals, treatment sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team collaboration sessions, and professional development
  • Employ evidence-based interventions and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Foster an inclusive environment where every learner can thrive
