This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is experienced and passionate about working with children and collaborating with educational teams. This flexible role welcomes both part-time and full-time candidates and will be shared between two close-knit school communities, with three days per week at a central elementary site and two days with preschool-aged children.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, particularly in elementary and preschool populations
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered support programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students as referred
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy utilizing evidence-based strategies for both elementary and preschool-aged children
- Formulate IEP goals and attend meetings as a collaborative team member
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Split time effectively between two school sites, maintaining clear communication and coordination
