Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC (ASHA certification)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to support speech, language, and communication development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Attend meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
  • Offer resources and guidance to families to reinforce strategies outside of the classroom
