Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Washington state licensure or ability to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong candidates completing or beginning their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation practices
  • Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students of varied backgrounds and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and small group settings in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success across academic and social environments
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
