Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and early intervention settings
- Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders common in early childhood
- Previous school-based or healthcare SLP background is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among young students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster student growth
- Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, counselors, and families to support each child's progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain thorough service documentation
- Offer direct therapy sessions and consultative support to students, adapting approaches based on individual needs
- Encourage family engagement in the intervention process to foster continued growth at home
