Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Washington state licensure or ability to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong candidates completing or beginning their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation practices
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students of varied backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Deliver therapy services in individual and small group settings in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success across academic and social environments
- Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
