In this school-based SLP opportunity, starting tentatively August 24th, you will provide essential early learning services on-site, with a Monday-Friday full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week, staff hours 8:45-4:15). Your days will be rewarding and varied, supporting developmental preschool programs, itinerant services, Child Find evaluations, and potentially aiding transition to kindergarten, depending on the caseload.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP license and eligibility for Washington state certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, participate in results meetings and IEPs before/after student hours
• Deliver direct therapy for developmental preschool (no DPS students on Wednesdays)
• Provide itinerant and Child Find evaluation services
• Support transition to kindergarten as needed, per caseload
