Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible SLP licensure in West Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong new grads are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups, across various school locations
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech and language disorders while setting achievable, functional communication goals
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student support
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided and student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold best practices within the school environment
