Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or eligibility in West Virginia
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a passion for collaboration
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth in speech and language services

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students of varied ages
  • Develop tailored intervention plans and track student progress

  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure best outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
