Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP licensure for the state or eligibility for certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Track student progress meticulously and maintain detailed records
- Engage and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and educational partners
- Offer consultation, resources, and support to staff and families to foster student success
