Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid SLP licensure for the state or eligibility for certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ communication strengths and needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Track student progress meticulously and maintain detailed records
  • Engage and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and educational partners
  • Offer consultation, resources, and support to staff and families to foster student success
