School Speech Language Pathologist - Bellevue, MI

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working in an onsite capacity. This contract position is based near Bellevue, MI, and provides the opportunity to support PreK through 12th-grade students, with a strong focus on early childhood caseloads. This is a full-time role, offering up to 40 hours per week in a dynamic, supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience working in schools preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with students, families, and educational staff
• Prepared to work onsite only; remote or virtual (VOCO) options are not available
• If applying as a Clinical Fellow (CF), a prearranged supervisor must be in place

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, mostly early childhood
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy using best practices to address students’ needs
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel
• Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
