Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop student-specific intervention plans and goals
- Comfortable with a varied caseload across grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
- Develop IEP goals and provide direct therapy services based on student needs
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and other specialists to enhance student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and student records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student programs
- Support classroom teachers with recommendations and resources
- Utilize evidence-based practices to drive positive student outcomes
