What you’ll bring:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in Washington State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience with early childhood or school-based caseloads is preferred
• Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders
• Strong collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication with students, staff, and families
Your responsibilities in this role:
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
• Assess and document students’ communication abilities, progress, and needs using standardized tools
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide recommendations and classroom strategies to support language development
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Contribute to child study teams and participate in student support meetings
• Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment for all students
