Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience delivering individualized and group speech/language therapy in a school environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
  • Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and school administrators
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance and resources to families to support students’ communication at home
  • Participate in professional development as needed to stay current with best practices
