Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative services for students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Regularly collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Offer support and education to staff and families on communication strategies
