Make a difference every day by supporting students’ communication and learning skills in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers two openings in welcoming Texas communities. Whether you are an experienced clinician or a Clinical Fellow, you will find a supportive environment with robust supervision.
Opportunities are available in two unique settings:
- A district-wide SLP role in Bartlett, working with around 40 students including an elementary life skills caseload and general education speech services for middle and high schoolers.
- A full-time district-wide SLP position in Troy, serving a predominantly general education population.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligibility for ASHA CCC or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship (CFs welcome)
- Texas SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Passion for engaging with students of diverse needs in educational environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in educational settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and support advocacy for students’ communication needs
