Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Benicia, CA

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 26/27 school year within a K-12 district located in Benicia, CA. This contract role offers an engaging opportunity to support students across a diverse age range with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective therapy strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes for students
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support speech and language development within the school setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Eligible or certified as a Speech Language Pathologist-Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) accepted
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage caseloads and organize schedules efficiently
