What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP-CCC credential
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adjust strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Vermont licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

What to Expect in the Role:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students across grade levels
  • Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to promote effective communication skills
  • Maintain compliance with documentation, progress reports, and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student progress
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
