What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adjust strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Vermont licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
What to Expect in the Role:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students across grade levels
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to promote effective communication skills
- Maintain compliance with documentation, progress reports, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student progress
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
