Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Northeast Philadelphia area. This long-term substitute position runs from August through December and is a fantastic fit for experienced SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows seeking hands-on experience in a supportive school environment. You’ll enjoy a structured schedule—Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 2:30 PM—with a dedicated training period your first week on site before students arrive on September 8th.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but open to motivated new graduates

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40–50 students in grades K-8
  • Provide direct therapy and develop treatment plans for students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain records, and develop IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate students’ progress
  • Integrate into the school community, promoting an inclusive and positive educational environment
