Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid or pending Minnesota SLP License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting
  • Experience with pediatric speech-language pathology, including assessments, interventions, and IEP development
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology use (webcam, computer)
  • Ability to pass a technical screening and internet speed test
  • Annual professional liability insurance (minimum coverage: 500K/500K)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and school staff
  • Open to working with SLPAs and guiding Clinical Fellows (CFY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver virtual therapy sessions, track progress, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school professionals
  • Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to a supportive, student-centered environment
