Make an impact within a supportive educational setting by providing speech-language services to students in the Vaughan area. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll foster communication skills and promote student success through individualized and group therapy sessions.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with a range of therapy techniques and assessment tools

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
  • Evaluate and assess student communication abilities and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ communication goals
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Offer strategies and resources to support classroom staff in fostering language development
