You'll work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and provide tailored therapy, all while partnering closely with teachers and families to promote academic and personal success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Mississippi.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered.
  • Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is highly desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to create individualized therapy plans and document progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech, language, or communication concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring SLP support.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in line with students’ goals and programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff on student progress and intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and reports as required by school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
